Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and commercially minded professional to support the growth of our operations. As an Assistant Finance Manager, you will play a key role in driving financial planning, analysis, and compliance.

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and lead FP&A activities including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Audit and Compliance: Manage internal and external audit processes, ensuring transparency and regulatory adherence.
  • Project Finance Reporting: Handle project finance reporting to key stakeholders including financial institutions and head office.
  • Financial Reporting and Insights: Prepare insightful financial reports and dashboards to inform strategic decisions.
  • Financial Controls and Systems: Support the setup of financial controls and systems aligned with group policies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in financial planning, analysis, business services, and audit.
  • CA or CPA certification is a must.
  • A background in property development, real estate, or hospitality is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong understanding of project finance and reporting to corporate HQ or financial institutions.
  • Strong financial modelling skills.
  • Hands-on, collaborative approach with excellent communication skills.
  • Hands-on ERP experience with NetSuite, Cognos, and Opera.
  • Full Australian working rights: sponsorship is not available for this role.
