About the Role:This role is part of our critical facilities team, responsible for the maintenance, repair and incident response of critical services and systems. You will be the first point of contact for alerts and alarms, and will work closely with our team to ensure continuity of services.
As a Service Technician - Shift Team, you will be responsible for:
- Responding to service requests and emergency faults
- Undertaking initial fault finding and implementing remediation
- Providing estimated timelines for repairs and communicating with clients
- Undertaking critical switching in the event of a failure
- Ensuring all planned contractor maintenance activities are completed in accordance with procedures
- Assisting with addressing issues identified within maintenance reports
- Communicating all identified risks immediately
- Providing support to clients as required
- Enforcing safe work practices in accordance with CDC policy and procedures
We are looking for a skilled and experienced individual with a trade or tertiary qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Fire or Telecommunications. You will have prior experience in critical infrastructure environments and adhering to strict procedures and policies.
You will also have experience operating Building Management Systems (BMS) or Energy Management Systems (EMS), and exposure to data centre equipment such as CRAC units, UPS, Generators and Fire systems.
We are looking for someone who is able to work well under pressure, communicate complex technical information to a non-technical audience, and demonstrate a strong ability to work as part of a team.
Requirements:- Australian citizenship and ability to obtain an NV1 Security Clearance
- Comply with CDC Policies and Procedures
- Work on a rotational 12-hour shift roster 2 days - 2 nights - 4 off
