Job Summary:

We are seeking a specialist to partner with customers, partners, and internal teams to deliver protection solutions. The role focuses on protection relays and systems across Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical authority on protection relay portfolio across Australia.
  • Partner with sales, presales, and channel teams to deliver best-in-class solutions to customers.
  • Offer technical support, design consultation, and compliance guidance for pre-sales and tender opportunities.
  • Lead technical training sessions, workshops, and product demonstrations for internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Interpret single-line diagrams, coordinate protection studies, and develop optimized relay settings.
  • Support solution proposals with accurate, well-documented technical material.
  • Stay current with local and international standards (IEC, ANSI, AS) and contribute to market strategy.
  • Provide feedback to product development teams to ensure solutions meet local market needs.

Requirements:

  • Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent.
  • 5 to 8 years' experience in protection systems, preferably in the Australian market.
  • Strong knowledge of IEC, ANSI, and Australian protection standards.
  • Practical experience with protection relays.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and system design layouts.
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement experience.
  • Ability to align technical solutions with customer needs, support value-based selling, and contribute to commercial success.
  • Willingness to travel across Australia for client and site support.
