The successful candidate will be responsible for serving as the technical authority on protection relay portfolios, providing technical support, design consultation, and compliance guidance, leading training sessions and workshops, interpreting single-line diagrams, coordinating protection studies, and developing optimized relay settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Authority: Provide expert knowledge on protection relay portfolios, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is available to stakeholders.
  • Partnering: Collaborate with sales, presales, and channel teams to deliver best-in-class solutions to customers.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical guidance, design consultation, and compliance support for pre-sales and tender opportunities.
  • Training: Lead technical training sessions, workshops, and product demonstrations for internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Protection Studies: Interpret single-line diagrams, coordinate protection studies, and develop optimized relay settings.
Requirements
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 5-8 years' experience in protection systems, ideally in the Australian market.
  • Strong knowledge of IEC, ANSI, and Australian protection standards.
  • Practical experience with Schneider Electric protection relays or equivalent platforms.
