The successful candidate will provide high-quality clinical care to residents, ensuring compliance with quality standards. They will also provide leadership and coaching to the clinical team to ensure delivery of quality resident outcomes.
About the Role:- Ensure high-quality clinical care is provided to residents at all times, as per the Aged Care quality Standards and policy and procedures.
- Provide leadership and coaching to the clinical team to ensure delivery of quality resident outcomes.
- Work in a safe manner, closely following all policies and procedures, including IPC, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Previous experience working within a Residential Aged care setting in a similar role with demonstrated understanding of assessment processes.
- Comprehensive clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age-related health issues and experience working with Dementia Residents.
- Strong coaching/training skills and the ability to influence others.
- Able to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team managing complex complaints.
- Willingness to apply for clearance checks.
