The role of Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) is a critical position in the healthcare industry. The CNS provides senior nursing clinical leadership, developing specialist clinical practice and service delivery within a nursing unit, team or service.

For this position, you will need to have current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (Division 1), relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years' experience working in the clinical area of their specified post-graduate qualification. You must also be able to demonstrate ability to prioritise and problem solve to manage complex clinical care needs of patients through the development and use of clinical management plans.

  • You should have highly developed written and verbal communication skills with advanced interpersonal and problem solving skills.

In addition to these requirements, the ideal candidate will have experience working in a hospital setting and a strong understanding of clinical governance principles.
