Role Description:

The Portfolio Manager reports into the Head of Technology Delivery based within the Business Unit.

This role manages multiple work packages across technology ensuring aligned delivery efforts with strategic objectives governance compliance and driving continuous improvement.

Job responsibilities:
  • Define and manage portfolio work packages aligned with business priorities using established frameworks and best practices.
  • Identify assess and track risks and issues across the portfolio coordinating mitigation strategies.
  • Break work packages into clear scopes with defined outcomes resourcing requirements and constraints.
  • Develop and maintain business cases scopes of work tender/quoting documentation and supporting artefacts to secure resources and stakeholder buy-in.
  • Manage regular updates reviews and decision-making forums with stakeholders.
What you will bring:
  • 10+ years' experience in project and portfolio delivery.
  • Experience writing well-defined succinct and clear portfolio artefacts such as business cases tender documents and scopes of work.
  • Project or portfolio planning governance coordination and compliance.
  • Significant experience with project controls scheduling governance across the project lifecycle.
