The role of Psychologist (Grade 2) involves working with female offenders experiencing mental illness as part of a multidisciplinary team. This position may also involve scholarly writing, research, and court-ordered psychological assessments as directed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychological services and advice on patient management and treatment.
- Conduct specialist psychological, psychometric, and psychodiagnostic assessments and reports when necessary.
- Deliver individual and/or group interventions as required.
- Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to assess and manage patient risk.
- Contribute to clinical practice and program development within the discipline.
Requirements:
- Masters or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) accredited course or equivalent.
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulations Agency (AHPRA).
- The successful candidate must register their qualifications on eCredential.
