Job Summary:

Forensicare is seeking a skilled and organized Ward Clerk to provide administrative support to multidisciplinary teams in the forensic mental health sector. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage patient health records and information, ensuring compliance with policies and guidelines.
  • Assist with patient registration, admission, and discharge processes, ensuring accurate data entry.
  • Maintain patient lists and ensure documentation for admissions, transfers, and separations is completed promptly.
  • Manage medical record tracking system and request medical records as needed.
Requirements:
  • Experience providing administrative assistance in health or mental health settings.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Working knowledge of RAPID (mental health database).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
