
Home-Based Child Care Specialist

Our services span disability and NDIS support, children’s, youth and family services, aged home care, veterans’ care, and community nursing. We seek dedicated professionals to support children and young people in residential care settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct care and supervision to young people in a residential setting.
- Develop and implement individualised care plans tailored to their needs.
- Assist with daily activities, promote self-care, education, and recreational activities that cater to diverse interests.
- Promote a safe and positive living environment by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation.
- Build trusting relationships with young people, offering emotional support and guidance to help them thrive.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Valid Working with Children Check.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
- Current Drivers Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Relevant Bachelor's Degree, Diploma or Certificate IV (Community Services, Youth/Social Work, etc.).
- Experience working with young people/children, ideally in residential care settings.
- Prior experience in supporting individuals with diverse needs and backgrounds.
