Family Violence Specialist
This is a part-time permanent position delivering key initiatives to support victim-survivors of family violence, promoting their safety and wellbeing in recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver holistic responses to assist victim-survivors of family violence to transition from crisis and establish sustainable arrangements to improve their safety and independence.
- Provide safety and security responses to enable victim survivors of family violence to safely remain in or return to their own homes or relocate to a new home.
- Process donations received for family violence services.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, or a related social science discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in providing specialist family violence services for victim survivors of family violence, including adults and children.
- Technical knowledge in practice responses to family violence, including risk assessment and management.
- A valid Victorian Working with Children's Check and National Police Check are required.
