Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Early Years Specialist to join our team of allied health professionals, social workers, and inclusive education specialists. This role will involve delivering supports to families, using evidence-informed best practices, and empowering them to build skills and confidence to support their children.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver tailored support options to children and families, based on assessments, observations, and understanding of child development
  • Empower families, caregivers, and professionals through coaching and training, helping them build skills and confidence to support children in everyday life
  • Connect children and families with their community, ensuring they are included and can participate in settings and activities they choose
  • Maintain thorough records of conversations, developmental progress, and goals in the NDIA business system
  • Guide families through the application, implementation, and funding processes of NDIS plans
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood/Education or above
  • Expert knowledge in child development and early intervention, including ability to identify developmental issues
  • Proven track record building relationships and supporting families and children with developmental delays/disabilities, including implementing effective strategies for families to practice at home and other settings
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the NDIS Early Childhood Approach and early childhood intervention best practice principles and the National Disability Insurance Scheme
