**About the Position**:
We are actively seeking a highly skilled and motivated Early Years Specialist. This pivotal role encompasses delivering strengths-based early childhood supports, aligning with PITC program guidelines and National Guidelines for Best Practice in Early Childhood Intervention.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Strengths-Based Support**: Implement strategies per program guidelines for personalized, responsive, and flexible services.
- **Assessment and Planning**: Utilize functional assessments and developmental screeners, collaborating with families to develop tailored plans.
- **Capacity Building**: Foster knowledge, skills, and confidence in families, carers, and professionals to support children in acquiring new skills.
- **Inclusion Facilitation**: Actively connect and facilitate the inclusion of children in community and mainstream settings.
- **Record Keeping**: Accurately document conversations, developmental information, goals, and outcomes in the NDIA business system following the NDIS Performance Management Framework.
- **Provide strengths-based early childhood supports** in line with program guidelines and National Guidelines for Best Practice in Early Childhood Intervention.
- **Lead early intervention playgroups,** evidence-based parent education programs, and develop parent resources.

**Qualifications and Skills**:
**_Degree in a field of Allied Health/Social Work or Teaching_**
- **Time Management**: Exceptional ability to manage time, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines and KPIs.
- **Communication**: High-level verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- **Relationship Building**: Ability to build rapport and develop respectful relationships with families and children.
- **Intervention Planning**: Capability to plan group and individual interventions for children with disability or developmental delay.
- **Emotional Intelligence**: Demonstrate emotional intelligence, personal resilience, and tenacity.
- **NDIS Onboarding**: NDIS onboarding documents cleared before commencement.
