Training and Education Lead

The Training and Education Lead will spearhead the development, implementation, and evaluation of all training programs associated with the rollout of a cardiovascular information system (CVIS) across multiple sites.

Liaise effectively with key stakeholders to resolve technical and strategic training issues both internally and externally.

As part of a team, drive adoption of CVIS solution training strategies to promote workflow compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the planning, design, development, delivery, and evaluation of all training and education associated with the rollout of CVIS statewide.
  • Assist in validating the Training Needs Analysis for CVIS training, including who, where, how many, what, and how, as well as the resources required to support the pilot and subsequent rollout tranches.
  • Facilitate the establishment of an appropriate training database environment in partnership with technical teams and vendors.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement, including vendors, in regards to the planning, development, and delivery of CVIS training and education.
  • Administer the centralized suite of training materials and tools used across all Hospital and Health Services, ensuring ongoing enhancement and maintenance of materials.
  • Monitor training completion rates at each site as part of go-live readiness activities and provide input to go/no-go decisions based on end-user levels of competency and confidence to use the CVIS solution.
  • Identify and implement improvement opportunities to advance the quality of content and delivery approach of CVIS clinical and administrative training statewide.
  • Facilitate successful handover of business and/or technical knowledge to BaU Operational teams responsible for ongoing maintenance and custodianship of training materials and resources.
