This role presents an opportunity to lead a diverse school community and drive quality learning outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of implementing strategic priorities, managing budgets, and developing the capabilities of school leaders.

About the Role
  • Foster a shared educational vision that prioritizes student achievement and teacher effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with senior staff to develop and implement curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment strategies that align with best practices.
  • Build capacity among Heads of Departments and other school leaders through effective line management and professional development.
  • Oversee departmental budgeting and action planning to ensure alignment with school goals.
  • Promote partnerships to enrich student experiences and opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date with legislation and policies affecting schooling and ensure their implementation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the school in developing a shared educational vision focused on excellence in teaching and learning.
  • Act as a deputy principal when required, providing leadership and support to the school community.
  • Embody the deputy principalship as a values-based, ethical, and moral practice.
  • Incorporate socially just principles into daily school life.

This is a temporary vacancy for an Expressions of Interest. The role will be reviewed after 12 months.
