About Crow's Nest State School
Crow's Nest State School was established in 1877 and has a strong educational heritage within the local school community. The school is located in the town of Crow's Nest approximately 40km north of Toowoomba. Crow's Nest State School is a P-10 school catering for students from Prep to Year 10.
About the Role

You will closely collaborate with the Principal, Head of Department (Secondary), Head of Department (Curriculum) and Head of Special Education Services. The Deputy Principal has a major influence on developing the quality of teaching and learning and nurturing positive relationships between students, teachers and stakeholders.The Deputy Principal will be an instructional leader who will provide teaching and learning leadership to influence pedagogy and drive student outcomes alongside the Principal and Leadership Team, with an Equity and Excellence lens, leading a team of teachers to support students to become confident, creative & accomplished learners.

The ideal Deputy Principal will lead an improvement agenda built around innovation, quality teaching and learning, the wellbeing and engagement of all students and building strong community partnerships.
**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
- Assist the Principal to lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Deputise for the Principal when required.
- Uphold the deputy principalship as a values based, ethical and moral activity.
