Job Description:

A Care Services Assistant plays a pivotal frontline role with a particular focus on nutrition and dining, supporting residents to live a life of fulfillment through the delivery of person-centred care and support according to needs and preferences of each resident in everyday practice.

  • Meal choices and individual nutrition
  • Consideration of allergies and food intolerances
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with meal selection and meal timing preferences
  • Prepare and set up dining areas to meet individual needs and preferences
  • Actively engage with residents to provide social and emotional support during mealtimes
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • A compassionate and caring attitude
  • Previous restaurant and/or commercial kitchen experience (highly regarded)
