You'll be trusted to:
- Scope, prepare short-term look ahead programs, and provide input into the project schedule, status of works, and reporting requirements.
- Monitor and report on project progress and maintain our contractual schedule/program.
- Monitor and review the project task financial outcomes, including overseeing project monthly forecasting and short-term cost controls to ensure project targets are optimised.
- Provide daily support, team supervision, and feedback to field operations to produce high-quality project outcomes against company set performance criteria.
- Supervise the daily contract administration requirements and collaborate in the negotiation and control of subcontractor and supply agreements.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the civil construction industry.
- Demonstrated experience managing subcontractors and suppliers for site works.
- Preparation of short-term (4 weekly or as otherwise directed) look ahead programs.
- Experience in coordinating and/or running tool box meetings, pre-start meetings, site inductions, and a demonstrated commitment to HSEQ practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree.
