Job Overview

We are currently recruiting for an Acquisition Specialist to join our team, reporting directly to the Buying Manager.

The role provides the used-car sales department with a supply of marketable used cars and assists the Procurement Manager in maximising sales opportunities through effective valuing and buying trade stock.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Valuing vehicles offered for trade-in
  • Arranging direct purchases of stock to meet the trading needs of the used car sales centres
  • Ensuring online valuation leads are actioned
  • SUPPORTING retail sites by achieving monthly vehicle acquisition targets
  • Ensuring suitable stock mix is available
  • Maintaining strong relationships within the team
  • Providing supporting documentation for all deals within approved timeframes

Requirements:

  • Mechanical skills/experience is advantageous
  • Providing an exceptional customer experience
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Able to build and maintain effective and productive relationships

About This Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for acquiring high-quality vehicles to meet the demands of our used car sales centres. They will work closely with the Buying Manager to ensure that the right vehicles are sourced at the right price.
