About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and safety-conscious heavy machinery operator to join our team. This role requires operating a range of heavy lifting equipment safely, efficiently and accurately on various construction sites.

  • Conduct pre-start checks and safety tests on all heavy lifting equipment
  • Operate controls to manoeuvre cranes and hoists in accordance with job specifications
  • Work closely with riggers and spotters to safely align, raise, lower, and position loads
  • Maintain awareness of lifting zones and site-specific hazards
  • Inspect and maintain lifting equipment and report any mechanical issues

Key Requirements:

  • AQF Certificate II or III in a relevant field (or equivalent experience)
  • Valid high-risk work licence for crane operation
  • Proven experience operating cranes, hoists, or lifting machinery in construction settings
  • Strong situational awareness and safety mindset
  • Ability to interpret lift plans and site layouts
