Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Claims Service Consultant to manage complex portfolios of claims arising from Public and Product Liability policies in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess allegations of negligence to determine liability, negotiate quantum within a delegated authority, and provide policy coverage decisions.
  • Ensure a high standard of service is maintained for internal and external customers while building professional relationships with stakeholders.
  • Communicate claim developments, trends, and potential large losses to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring continuous communication and negotiation with panel solicitors, loss adjusters, and service providers.
  • Represent the company at Tribunal Hearings, Informal Settlement Conferences, and Mediations under the guidance of senior staff.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in law or relevant experience working in a legal environment is highly desirable but not essential.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent prioritization, organization, and time management skills, combined with the ability to balance commercial outcomes with empathy and understanding.
  • Willingness to be a team player and support a collaborative culture.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills, along with a vision for long-term career progression.
  • Ability to leverage emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
