Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Operations Assistant.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Operations Manager in managing and delivering services. This will involve contributing to daily depot operations by following operating standards set by the Operations Manager, assisting with logistical planning of people and vehicle movements, and providing excellent customer and client liaison skills.

The role also involves driving duties, creating and allocating daily work schedules to meet contract requirements, implementing and maintaining scheduling and allocation procedures, ensuring scheduled activities comply with industry and company standards and regulations, and preparing and distributing job sheets for Drivers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Operations Manager in managing and delivering services
  • Contribute to daily depot operations by following operating standards set by the Operations Manager
  • Assist with logistical planning of people and vehicle movements
  • Customer and Client Liaison
  • Assist with driving duties
  • Create and allocate daily work schedules to meet contract requirements
  • Implement and maintain scheduling and allocation procedures
  • Ensure scheduled activities comply with industry and company standards and regulations
  • Plan work schedules and vehicle allocation for OM approval
  • Prepare and distribute job sheets for Drivers, including routes, passenger information, signage, and special requests
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • LR or MR minimum Driver's Licence class
  • Passenger Transport Driver (PTD) authority
  • Working With Children (WWC) check
  • Provide First Aid training, which we can provide during school term holidays
