Job Opportunity

    Belong at Home is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to fill a scheduling position. This role requires excellent communication skills, empathy towards older people, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

This opportunity involves timely and accurate scheduling of services for Transport, including additional support for daily cancellations/changes of services where required to support the team. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for supporting staff and volunteers in ensuring high-quality service delivery, contributing to team meetings, and representing the organization positively and professionally at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Timely, accurate and compliant scheduling of services for Transport with additional support for daily cancellations/changes of services where required to support the team.
  • Support of staff and volunteers, to ensure service delivery is high quality, safe and dependable.
  • Represent Belong at Home positively and professionally at all times.
  • Contribute to team meetings and continuous improvement ideas and initiatives.
  • Administrative tasks including confidential and secure client file management, follow up and process client payments, reconcile petty cash, regular communication to stakeholders by phone or written and prompt escalation of client concerns and/or complaints.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Scheduling & administration position or similar is desirable.
  • Proficiency in using internal client management software and Microsoft Office Suite programs.
  • Demonstrated ability or desire to motivate and develop staff and volunteers.
  • Proven administration experience and data entry background.
  • Understanding of WHS in the workplace.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
