Reporting Transformation Consultant

This exciting opportunity is to support a leading FMCG business in implementing and integrating Power BI across all business areas.

The consultant will play a key role in shaping reporting and analytics by designing and developing comprehensive suites of reports for finance, sales, and operations teams.

  • Building new reports and dashboards in Power BI using DAX and data modelling techniques.
  • Replicating and uplifting existing reports in Power BI to enhance user experience and provide real-time insights.
  • Collaborating closely with senior leaders to prioritise and deliver reporting requirements.
  • Supporting the transition from daily data refreshes to near real-time updates through efficient system integration.
  • Designing reports that incorporate internal business data, with future scope for customer/external data integration.
  • Integrating third-party plugins such as Google Ads, Facebook Insights, and Instagram Analytics.
  • Applying DAX formulas to enhance data models and calculations.
  • Delivering actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making across finance, sales, and operations teams.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Strong experience in Power BI report development, including DAX and data modelling.
  • In-depth understanding of accounting principles and financial management.
  • Experience with Snowflake or other cloud-based data warehouse environments.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and their integration with Power BI.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into intuitive reporting solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
