About the Job

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Principal Asset Integration.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Asset Integration stream and providing technical support to the Operational Readiness team and business. Key objectives include ensuring that operational acceptance criteria are met in a safe and efficient manner, with a focus on timely handover and acceptance of assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate configuration management deep dive into Rail, Technology, Engineering and RTP
  • Manage outcomes of the configuration management review (OR and Rail outcomes)
  • Formulate OR requirements for FRACAS and DRACAS handover
  • Assist with development of change and release processes
  • Develop Asset Integration reporting program
  • Identify gaps in planned work and resolve with M&S Supt
  • Lead the Asset Integration stream in core activities
  • Support Operational Readiness team in development of 1SAP deliverables
  • Optimise strategies to prevent operational and production delays and minimise lifecycle costs
  • Facilitate FMECA workshops and participate in risk assessments
  • Identify critical and required spares, including cataloguing and development of Bill of Materials and Equipment Lists
  • Update Availability Workbench models
  • Document development including PMI, WIN and Asset Management Plans
  • Develop familiarisation and basic training material
  • Source information from project on design and equipment
  • Check documents against engineering standards
  • Development of Lifecycle Costing models and Whole of Life reports
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification or similar experience within mining and mineral industry
  • Background in maintenance development, asset integration and operational readiness advantageous
  • Experience in Configuration Management, Operational Readiness and developing long-term strategies to maintain assets at a predefined level
  • Understanding of Rail assets, including communications and power systems advantageous
  • Familiarity with 1SAP business processes
  • Demonstrated management of small team with clear deadlines
  • Highly developed analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple deliverables and prioritise tasks
  • Well-developed communications skills and summarise knowledge in clear and concise manner
  • Proactivity in identifying new technologies and assessing if beneficial to business
  • Focussed on following set processes and confidence to challenge those that do not promote sustainability
