Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Principal Social Consultant to join our team in Brisbane or Sydney. As a Principal Social Consultant, you will play a key role in executing strategically focused marketing and business development initiatives. Your responsibilities will include nurturing existing relationships, building new client connections, and maintaining partnerships with stakeholders.
You will empower team members to contribute to business success and strive for outcomes that align with Umwelt's vision and values. Additionally, you will provide expert advice on social issues, stakeholder concerns, and project impacts.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and integrate social and environmental constraints and opportunities into project planning and assessment
- Create content and concept designs for engagement and communications materials
- Prepare project reports on engagement and social assessment methods, results, and implications for project strategy
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Directors on social assessments and investigations
- Develop solutions to mitigate social impacts of projects
- Prepare community awareness and education programs
- Provide written briefings and reports
We are looking for a highly experienced social consultant with a degree qualification in a relevant field. You should have strong leadership experience, quantitative data analysis skills, and proficiency in Excel. You should also have effective stakeholder and community engagement skills, with a passion for integrating social practice in broader environmental planning and decision-making processes.
