About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ESG Senior Consultant to join our team in Brisbane. As a key member of our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) team, you will be responsible for delivering strategic ESG and risk solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality ESG and risk solutions to clients across various industries.
  • Provide effective communication to clients, maintain key Ashurst and client relationships, and contribute to the growth and development of the Risk Advisory practice and ESG team in Australia.
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to solve client problems and provide the highest quality service to clients.
  • Develop and implement strategic planning and risk frameworks, assess risk programs, and design and implement compliance programs.
About You
  • You have 2-5 years of specialized ESG/sustainability experience, ideally within a consulting environment, and are comfortable with common tools, frameworks, and standards in this space.
  • Experience working with Native Title and heritage projects and approvals is highly desirable.
  • You're a self-starter who is keen to work in a fast-paced environment that is always evolving and requires you to be proactive, confident, and humble.
  • You have proven experience delivering high-quality work for clients and stakeholders in line with expectations and deadlines, including sustainability programs and projects.
  • You're confident in autonomously finding solutions to a range of problems, especially those related to risk management, in a commercial and client-focused way.
  • You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a focus on attention to detail.
  • You have experience providing the highest quality service to clients and fostering professional and commercial relationships with a range of stakeholders.
  • You're passionate about collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to solve client problems and actively seek and welcome feedback to support the development of your skills and expertise.
  • You're enthusiastic to continue learning and developing your skills and knowledge daily.
