Role: Employee Lifecycle Support Specialist

Location: Melbourne, Australia (Hybrid)

As an Employee Lifecycle Support Specialist, you will support employees in Australia and the global team with employee lifecycle matters, including new hires, probations, and leaver documentation. This is a fast-paced role where no day is the same.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end processes for the Australian team, collaborating closely with the Global Talent Team.
  • Provide guidance and support to team leads and employees on people-related matters, including policies, procedures, and compliance with local labour laws and regulations.
  • Maintain effective systems to manage employee data, payroll, and performance evaluations.
  • Conduct regular employee feedback surveys to gauge job satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
  • Organize and manage local team meet-ups, events, and workshops in Australia.
  • Support a fair and transparent performance management process, providing guidance to managers.
  • Coordinate the procurement and distribution of necessary equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with local labour laws and regulations in Australia, updating policies and procedures as needed.

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years of HR/People experience.
  • Strong understanding of Australian employment legislative environment and compliance.
  • Demonstrable commitment to data integrity, proactive process improvement, and service delivery.
  • Strong Communication and relationship-building skills.
  • People-oriented person.
  • Organised and have excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work on multiple concurrent activities and prioritise them appropriately.
