
Expert Maternal Mental Health Specialist

This role focuses on providing high-quality specialist care to women, infants and their families who are experiencing moderate to severe perinatal mental health disorders.
Key responsibilities include developing and implementing system changes within the Perinatal Mental Health team, taking a lead role in promoting positive maternal mental health and enhancing the parent-infant relationship.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Mental Health Services, including Perinatal and Infant Mental Health clinical practice.
- Demonstrated knowledge of psychiatric disorders occurring in the perinatal period and appropriate treatments.
- Demonstrated understanding of factors affecting an infant's emotional, social, cognitive and behavioural development.
This is a fixed term full time day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight. The successful applicant will be required to meet the essential criteria.
