Child and Youth Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Child and Youth Mental Health Specialist to join our dynamic team. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical services to young people and their families, including complex case management, assessment, and individual therapies.

This is a unique opportunity to work with innovative team leaders and consultant psychiatrists to develop new youth mental health services in Tasmania. As a specialist, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional mental health outcomes for young people and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake comprehensive clinical assessments and provide treatment plans tailored to the needs of young people and their families
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement evidence-based interventions
  • Provide expert advice and support to other team members as required

Requirements:

  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse
  • Current Working with Children Registration
  • Postgraduate qualification or working towards a postgraduate qualification relevant to the role
  • Minimum of 2 years post graduate experience in an area relevant to the role
