About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Case Manager to join our Out of Home Care division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing case management support to children and young people with complex needs.

This role is situated within our Southern residential care program and reports to the Residential Coordinator. You will be working in a therapeutic and trauma-informed model of care, supervising caregivers, conducting assessments, and contributing to overall service development.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide case management support to children and young people with complex needs
  • Supervise caregivers and conduct assessments
  • Contribute to overall service development
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and values
  • A tertiary qualification in social work or community services
  • Sound professional knowledge of trauma, attachment, and integrated trauma-informed practice
  • Experience in child welfare practice and an understanding of meeting children's developmental needs
  • A knowledge of child-safe principles and standards
