Clinical Trials Nurse Manager

Lead a clinical research centre team to contribute to global health improvements as the Clinical Trials Nurse Manager.

This pivotal role ensures the successful delivery of world-class clinical trials and the advancement of medical knowledge. As a leader in nursing operations, you will oversee clinical trial management, compliance, and documentation standards while supporting trial start-up and efficiency.

Duties:
  • Provide strategic leadership to the nursing team, managing daily operations effectively
  • Ensure patient safety and accurate administration of investigational products through rigorous protocols
  • Oversee trial start-up, ensuring nursing protocols and resources are adequately in place
  • Manage recruitment, training, and delegation of nursing staff across protocols with precision
  • Maintain strict compliance with GCP, ALCOA-C, protocols, and regulatory standards
  • Foster a continuous improvement, safety, and compliance culture within the team
  • Collaborate with sponsors, CROs, investigators, and internal stakeholders to achieve goals
  • Support documentation standards, audits, and process improvements through effective systems
Requirements:
  • Holding current registration with AHPRA (mandatory)
  • Possessing tertiary qualifications in Nursing
  • Accumulating 3+ years' experience as a Clinical Trials Research Nurse
  • Acquiring 3+ years' experience in leadership/management roles, preferably ANUM or NUM positions
  • Having knowledge of Phases 1–4 of clinical trials
  • Experience with GCP, compliance, and clinical documentation standards is essential
  • Strong customer-centric focus is required to ensure positive patient and stakeholder experience
  • Proven ability to engage and liaise effectively with sponsors, CROs, and investigators is crucial
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are necessary for success
