Construction Carpenter Job Opportunity

We are seeking skilled construction carpenters and steel fixers to join our precast operation at Tomago. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including preparing and setting up formwork, reading technical drawings, measuring and setting out 'Decks' for precast production, cutting and boxing shutters, and stripping and storing formwork.

As a successful candidate, you will be motivated with attention to detail, reliable, and have experience in form working and concrete production. A safe outlook on all aspects of your daily activities is essential, along with a current driver's license and ideally a forklift license. Previous experience in construction, concreting or manufacturing is preferred.

  • Prepare and set up formwork for precast product production

  • Bend and tie steel reinforcement bars where required
  • Finish concrete products ready for supply to customers
