The chosen candidate will lead robust financial planning cycles, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range strategic planning. They will also ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls and guaranteeing comprehensive compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.
Key qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline; a Master's degree or MBA is highly preferred.
- Possession of a CPA, CA, or equivalent internationally recognized professional accounting qualification is preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive senior finance leadership experience, ideally gained within a multinational organization or the automotive/OEM sector.
- Demonstrated experience leading finance operations across multiple countries, with a deep understanding of the regulatory and compliance environments in both Australia and New Zealand.
- Deep technical knowledge and practical experience with major financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent Tier 1 ERP), forecasting tools, automation (AI) and data analytics platforms.
