Our team is looking for a highly skilled Senior Media And Public Affairs Officer to play a key role in maintaining the integrity and professionalism of our media and public affairs department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in journalism or public affairs, with the ability to develop and implement effective media management strategies that promote our organisation and its initiatives.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production of news releases, social media content, and other external communications materials, as well as managing the day-to-day operations of our Media Operations team. This will involve providing specialist guidance and overseeing the delivery of high-quality media services to support the needs of our organisation.
In addition to these responsibilities, the Senior Media And Public Affairs Officer will also be required to prepare and deliver media awareness training sessions for staff as needed. They will need to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and apply this knowledge to enhance our media and public affairs capabilities.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will also need to have formal qualifications in journalism or public affairs, although experience in these fields is also highly desirable.
