Job Title: Case Underwriting Director - Asia Pacific

The role of Case Underwriting Director for the Asia Pacific region is a strategic position that focuses on driving technical excellence and market competitiveness within the financial services sector.

This individual will be responsible for overseeing case underwriting to maintain market competitiveness, profitability, and compliance. This includes new and renewing deals in the Asia Pacific region.

  • Manage case underwriting across Australia, New Zealand, and for global clients operating in the Asia Pacific region.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to develop client offers, both new and renewal business.
  • Ensure accurate pricing and support APAC deals requiring higher-level approvals.
  • Lead underwriting for large accounts, particularly in banking and financial services.
  • Enable growth and improved profitability through effective underwriting activities.
  • Assure compliance with underwriting guidelines and monitor portfolio performance.

The ideal candidate will possess an actuarial or financial background, a minimum of five years' experience in portfolio monitoring, underwriting, or insurance, and fluency in English with strong communication skills.
