Responsibilities
Provide underwriting and product guidance to Claims and Sales teams, acting as a subject matter expert.
Support RAA Insurance's product and underwriting strategy by managing policy, regulatory, and compliance changes.
Uphold RAA insurance's policies, procedures, and regulatory standards, proactively identifying potential risks to contribute to safety, accountability, and continuous quality improvement while ensuring compliance and strategic alignment.
Review and update insurance product content across formats such as PDS, guidelines, and communications.
Propose and implement underwriting process improvements to boost efficiency, risk management, and accuracy.
About You
Proven experience in business analysis and/or business process analysis and implementation. Alternatively experience as a Case Manager, Claims Consultant or relevant experience. Strong General Insurance background and knowledge of insurance products, services, and industry best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Able to analyse complex data sets and clearly communicate complex technical subject matter to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
Deep understanding of insurance regulations, including the General Insurance Code of Practice, dispute resolution, and relevant legislation, with the ability to accurately interpret and apply them.
