We're seeking a highly skilled Transformational Workforce Specialist to join our team

As a Transformational Workforce Specialist, you will play a key role in fostering a supportive and encouraging working environment that drives exceptional results for our clients. Reporting to a Business Manager, you will ensure day-to-day mentoring and coaching is available to team members, while collaborating with the Employment Programs Management Team to achieve strategic objectives.

Our mission is to empower individuals, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds, to reach their full potential through meaningful employment. With over 45 years of experience, we've developed a unique approach that combines community engagement, education, and job placement to drive positive change.

This is a full-time, fixed-term role until 30 June 2025, with the potential for extension. Based in Fortitude Valley, you'll enjoy a competitive salary of circa $73,000, plus superannuation and NFP salary packaging benefits. Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to support team members in achieving their goals
  • Collaborate with the Employment Programs Management Team to drive business outcomes
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to team members to enhance their skills and performance
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote a culture of inclusion and diversity
  • Engage with local employers, community groups, and stakeholders to promote our services and build partnerships

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in workforce development, customer service, or a related field
  • Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in digital tools
  • Previous administration experience and ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to resolve complex client situations with resilience and maturity
  • Ability to obtain a Blue Card and National Police Check
