Claims Handler


Advent Claims Australia is seeking a professional to join its team conveniently located in the Sydney CBD. The ideal candidate will have experience in motor claims administration, however this is not essential.

The role involves lodging claims and executing key initial activities including customer contact, obtaining claim / policy information, requesting information. You will also interpret coverage and determine if coverage applies to claims submitted, escalating issues as needed.

About you:

- Tenacious phone skills with the ability to negotiate
- Knowledge of Australian and New Zealand Road Rules
- Great time management skills, ensuring prompt contact is made
- Ability to work with high volumes
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Ability to develop strong relationships at all levels with both internal and external stakeholders coupled with a high level of emotional intelligence;
