Electrical Tradesperson

This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the engineering department as a skilled tradesperson.

The successful applicant will be responsible for performing general maintenance, including electrical breakdown repairs, preventive maintenance, testing, and construction refurbishments across electrical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide ongoing maintenance related to electrical systems, including installation, breakdown maintenance of power and lighting, hospital systems, HVAC-related electrical work, steam plants, and other repairs as directed by the electrical supervisor.
  • Undertake statutory testing and maintenance per Australian Standards (AS-3000, AS-3003, AS-3760, AS-3009).
  • Collaborate with trade-qualified Electricians and be supported by John Hunter Engineering Management.
  • Opportunity for internal training through the MyHealth learning system; study leave may be supported for post-trade studies.
Requirements
  • Full trade qualification; post-trade qualifications highly regarded.
  • Experience in installation and maintenance within the Electrical industry.
  • Eligible to drive in NSW.
