Make a Meaningful Impact

As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will have the opportunity to work with NDIS participants, assessing their behaviours and needs, designing behaviour support plans, and advocating on their behalf.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visiting NDIS participants and assessing their behaviours and needs
  • Designing and implementing behaviour support plans
  • Advocating on behalf of participants
  • Providing ongoing support and intervention aligned to prescribed Behavioural Support Plans
  • Training and supporting colleagues, providers, and families to implement behaviour support plans and related strategies

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Applied Behavioural Analysis, or BCBA accreditation (desirable)
  • Understanding of restricted practices and the role of the Quality and Safeguards Commission
