About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Internal Auditor to join our team at Public Sector People. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of our internal audit processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Audit Plans: Design and implement comprehensive internal audit plans to assess the effectiveness of our business processes and controls.
  • Conduct Audits and Provide Recommendations: Conduct thorough audits of our business processes and provide actionable recommendations to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and risk management.
  • Provide Expert Advice: Offer expert advice to management on internal audit best practices, risk management, and control measures.
  • Support Audit Committee: Provide secretariat support to our Audit Committee, including preparing meeting materials, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary Qualifications: A degree in a relevant field, such as accounting, finance, or business administration.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in internal auditing, with a strong background in risk management and control measures.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Professional Certifications: Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is highly desirable.
