Job Title: Maintenance Lead

The role of a Maintenance Lead is to oversee the maintenance function and ensure seamless integration with customer inputs. This position involves recruiting and managing a team of skilled technicians, conducting sea acceptance testing, inspection, refurbishment, modification, upgrade, and end-of-life actions for Autonomous Underwater Vessels (AUVs).

Key responsibilities include establishing forward-operating facilities and infrastructure for test and maintenance activities, developing comprehensive maintenance plans and schedules for Maritime systems and equipment, guiding the development of maintenance documentation, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality control procedures.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals in maintenance management to lead a team and implement effective maintenance strategies. If you have a suitable trade or engineering qualification, 7-10 years of experience in maintenance management, strong knowledge of Maritime Systems, and proven leadership skills, we encourage you to apply.

Requirements:

- Suitable trade or engineering qualification

- 7-10 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in the maritime industry or analogous Autonomous Systems

- Strong knowledge of Maritime Systems, including propulsion, electrical, and auxiliary systems

- Proven experience in developing and implementing maintenance strategies and facilities

- Familiarity with relevant Naval standards, regulations, and maintenance management software

- Experience with condition-based maintenance and predictive maintenance technologies

- Strong leadership and team management skills

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

- Proficiency in project management and budget control

- Understanding of cybersecurity principles in Australian Defense

- Ability to obtain and maintain a NV2 Security Clearance
