Aviation Fuel Operations Manager

We are seeking a Defence Fuel Operator to join our operations team at an RAAF Base in Queensland.

Key Responsibilities:
  • The role will be based at the Amberley RAAF Base, supporting multiple fuel installation sites in the region.
  • The DFO is responsible for the safe and compliant operation and management of aviation and/or ground fuel installations.
  • The role involves managing quality, compliance, quantity, and availability of fuel and related systems and processes.
  • The technical integrity of the fuel must be maintained, including management of quality control sampling and testing.
Requirements:
  • A strong team player with experience relevant to the role is required.
  • Defence specific training would be advantageous, however, this training will be provided where necessary.
  • A valid Driver's Licence (HR or HC) is highly regarded.
  • Safety must be prioritised in all aspects of the role.
  • The successful applicant must currently hold, or have the ability to obtain, appropriate Defence Security Clearance.
  • Living locally, or being willing to relocate to the Brisbane area, is preferred.
