Occupational Therapist Job Description

As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, holistic care to our clients. This dynamic role requires a skilled professional who can provide tailored services to meet the unique needs and goals of each individual.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify client needs and develop effective intervention plans.
  • Deliver occupational therapy interventions and education to promote independence, mobility, and overall well-being.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive client care.
  • Provide expert advice on home modification and equipment recommendations to enhance client safety and independence.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Australian Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle for travel purposes.
  • Previous experience working in an Aged Care environment is highly desirable.
