Transformative Design Experience at WiseTech Global

We are seeking an accomplished Senior User Experience Designer to join our esteemed Design team in Sydney. This pivotal role plays a critical part in WiseTech Global's substantial investment in design excellence across all aspects of our business.

This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with an established, cross-functional Design System team as we continue to evolve the WiseTech Design System called Supply. As a seasoned UI designer with expertise in desktop and mobile design, you will craft specialized interfaces for our industry-leading product, CargoWise, ensuring cohesion and visual consistency while unlocking vast amounts of information for hundreds of thousands of professional users.

You will work closely with our embedded User Experience Designers, helping them overcome interface-related challenges to bring their conceptual models to life while aligning solutions with the Design System and integrating them for seamless usage.

This position demands an understanding of the distinct challenges associated with enterprise-scale software design for expert audiences, leveraging contemporary user interface solutions to achieve the best possible user experience.

To assess your suitability for this opportunity, consider the following key points:

  • More than 5 years of experience in digital user interface design within product organizations, agencies, or enterprise environments
  • Proficiency in Figma - you should be comfortable coaching other designers in Figma best practices and utilizing our design system components correctly
  • A solid grasp of current industry trends in UI design
  • Experience working collaboratively with other Designers - most of your work will be done in conjunction with other Designers, making this your preferred way of working
  • Active involvement in design system efforts in previous roles
  • A fundamental comprehension of current front-end technologies and concepts such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript

While not mandatory, having good writing skills to explain and describe parts of our Design System can be beneficial.
