Inventory Control Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Inventory Control Specialist to oversee our spare parts supply chain. This vital role involves ensuring seamless operations, catering to both internal teams and external customers.
The ideal candidate has a background in inventory management and is passionate about streamlining processes. The position comes with opportunities for monthly commissions based on performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding part availability and pricing, maintaining high customer service standards.
- Process transfers, invoicing, and related documentation in a timely manner.
- Identify and interpret correct parts required for service and repairs.
- Provide accurate quotations to customers for parts and availability.
- Conduct regular stock takes of capital equipment and parts inventory.
- Inspect received freight and ensure all parts are accounted for and in good condition.
- Organize incoming parts into designated locations and communicate with team members regarding urgent arrivals.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in inventory management or similar role.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-centric approach.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Basic computer literacy, particularly in inventory management systems.
