Job Title: Personal Care Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Worker to join our team at Aveo's Albany Creek Retirement Village. As a Personal Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality daily care services to our residents, promoting their independence and well-being.

About the Role

This is a part-time position working a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends. You will work as part of a team to provide safe and effective daily personal care, tailored to the resident's care needs in line with their current care plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide kind, caring, and respectful personal care to residents, supporting their choice and independence.
  • Assist residents with tasks including medical and personal support, domestic cleaning, and general admin duties.
  • Support residents with recreational and social activities.
  • Follow all Aveo OH&S policies and procedures and report any safety, security, and resident incidents.
Requirements
  • Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability, or Health Services Assistance.
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificate.
  • Current Police Check clearance.
  • Current COVID-19 Vaccinations up to date.
