About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Worker to join our team at PresCare. As a Personal Care Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the wellbeing and quality of life for our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to provide person-centred care, supporting residents with their daily needs and promoting their independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral and dental care, and continence care.
  • Assist with mobility, including using aids and falls prevention.
  • Support residents with eating and drinking, including awareness of special dietary requirements.
  • Provide basic skin care, including repositioning and application of skin creams.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a base rate of $28.60 to $32.30 per hour, penalties, super, and leave loading. We also offer not-for-profit salary packaging options of up to $15,900 tax-free, plus meals and entertainment. Requirements
  • A Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent (or currently studying).
  • NDIS Worker Clearance.
  • Unlimited working rights in Australia.
  • Experience in providing personal care in an aged care setting.
  • A passion for delivering person-centred care.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • An understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards.
