Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance and Test Automation Engineer Lead to join our IT team. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll drive automation, streamline testing processes, and enhance the customer experience across our digital platforms.

As a QA and Test Automation Engineer Lead, you will be responsible for leading release planning, testing strategy, and execution across sprints. You will perform manual and automation testing using Cypress and TOSCA, investigate bugs, analyse root causes, and coordinate fixes.

You will also drive automation coverage and reduce manual testing effort, collaborate across teams to unblock delivery and improve product value, and contribute to Testing COE and share innovations with the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead release planning, testing strategy, and execution across sprints
  • Perform manual and automation testing using Cypress and TOSCA
  • Investigate bugs, analyse root causes, and coordinate fixes
  • Drive automation coverage and reduce manual testing effort
  • Collaborate across teams to unblock delivery and improve product value
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need 4+ years of experience in QA, automation, and release deployment. You will have strong leadership skills or desire to lead QA initiatives and proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL, TOSCA, GitHub Actions, and Cypress.

You will also have experience in agile environments and digital rollouts, excellent communication and stakeholder engagement, and exposure to DevOps environments (IaaS, PaaS).
